Safari 21km 2019

I seemed to recover quickly after Ironman so decided to test the legs and body with a fun 21km.
I felt good for the first 4kms but quickly my legs began to fatigue and feel heavy; probably from the recent speed and strength sessions. There’s quite a lot of gravel road on the route which I always find hard to run on and tried my best to increase my cadence.
It’s actually a lovely scenic 21km race and the last 4kms is downhill which is great!
I had wanted to run around 90 minutes but it was still a decent training run.
